HOT HOT H.E.A.T

Remind me to never go to IKEA on a Sunday at the beginning of the month when everybody still have some money left!! I went with Jonas today to buy him and Mandy a new bed. When we arrived there were no parking space at all so we had to cirkle around. Then suddenly a lady pulls out and I'm immediately there but what do you think happens? This crazy man came from the other way and just pulled in thus blocking both me, the lady that was driving away AND he couldn't get in properly!! What is it with some people?? Jonas said that we should go home. It was too crazy but just as he said that I saw a spot and I was in, yippie. So into the store, up to the bed department, trying out beds, deciding for one, down again for some linen, head to the cashier. No, I take the fast cashier where you check out yourself scanning your goods and paying with IKEA card. So we were out very quickly, then waiting for the bed and then for the transport service. It's September already and soon my birthday :-) Summer went by so fast and here the evenings are getting darker and darker and it will get worse all the way until December when it's dark almost all day. On the bright side is that the air is brisk and clear and it's easier to breathe rather than the humid weather we have had. They do say we're going to get some warm days now over the weekend but so far it has been rain and thunder. Tonight we're having dinner guests, our very good friends Kitte and Janne and also Laila who is visiting from Gotland. I'm serving gazpacho with shrimps and pain riche, then a delicious Lasagne and for dessert Toscapears with vanilla icecream. Does it sound good to you? Since I have been working both Thursday and today I had to make food that I could prepare beforehand so I did the Lasagne yesterday (which often makes it more tastier) and also the gazpacho. As you can see from previous posts I've been to see H.E.A.T perform today. In the morning I went to a Rheumatic conference but I left at 3PM to be sure I came in time to see them and I managed. Hasse had been there earlier in today when H.E.A.T did the honors of cutting the band thus inaugurating the new house which is high school/library/culturehouse/music school all in one. So when I came home we both went down to hear them perform. We met a lot of old and new friends there and they were so great (as you can here from the previous posts). Today is our oldest grandchilds birthday. Linnea turns 24 today and she's the same age as our youngest, Emil :-) You can imagine the explanations we had to make when they were babies in the same stroller. So a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you Linnea <3 <3 We had the pleasure of having Staffan, Lena, Marie and Bjarne here before going out to Arlanda to go on the plane down to Bodrum where Linnea works as a guide for Ving. They had a pitstop here for some wine and coffe and we were all very happy. Hasse drove them to Arlanda and there he will fetch another grandchild who returns from Bodrum, Turkey, where he and his girlfriend have been staying for a week :-) Logistic on a high level :-) Tomorrow time for conference and H.E.A.T aucustic playing at the inaugeration of the new culturehouse in Väsby. H.E.A.T is to inaugarate a new high school/library/music school/cultural centre in Upplands Väsby on Saturday 27th. At 1200 they will cut the band and at 4.30PM they will play aucustic in the entrance. Myself I'm at a conference in Nacka with the Rheumatic association that day but I will leave earlier at 3PM so I will get to Väsby in time to hear them play. I wouldn't miss it for the world. It has been so long since I heard them play :-) Since I last wrote I have been to Norrtälje to my friend Anne which was so nice, as always. Then last Friday I worked for a while and also had massage at work :-) After that a meeting with the information committee (Rheumatic association). On Thursday evening Hasse said: Why don't we book at the hotel by the sea where we stayed in July. I had so many points that I had a free night to collect. I called but I thought it was to close and that they wouldn't have any room BUT I got a DeLuxe seaview room Saturday to Sunday. So Saturday...
