Dizzy

                                  Not full yet but almost

A week where nothing much has happened except for Tuesday night when I suddenly became dizzy and nauseus. It was really scary. I couldn't walk properly so I went to bed very early at 7PM and when I lay down the bed spun like a carousel. You know the feeling when you have been drinking a lot and you close your eyes and the whole world spins and you are dizzy.
Since I almost never drink alcohol it wasn't that causing the dizziness.

 Funny shaped clouds

Jonas came back from Tokyo yesterday and I will hear more about that tomorrow :-)

Emil has finished his first period of internship at a home for elderly that needs medical care most of them with dementia. He is studying to become an assistant nurse and he have really liked working with the elderly.

I'm looking forward to see the super moon/blood moon Monday morning. That is if we can have clear skies. We are supposed to see the moon the best between 4AM to 5.30AM and that is the time I go up and get to work. Last time it was blood moon I was in La Mirada :-)

Speaking of which. My sister and nieces have been to Barcelona Spain 14 days and will go back to LA tomorrow. They seem to have had a good time seeing all places, meeting with family and also having time to be tourists. It would have been so much fun to have been there with them seeing Barcelona with family that knows the city. It is also "my city" so to speak since my father lived there but I haven't seen it from that side but just as a tourist.

On Thursday our great grandchild Tuva turns 1. She's such a sweetheart.

Take care everyone and you who are out there traveling have a safe journey home!

WOW!!! I just have to say Wow!

Why do you ask? I just got a mail telling me that I have won a romantic trip to Paris for 2! I enrolled in this competition, last year, which was to write a slogan and I had forgot all about it when the mail came. I didn't remember it even then so I had to go to the site and see what it was :-) I'm so happy! and so is Hasse :-) We had a great Easter which started with a wonderful ballet, Giselle, at the Royal Opera with my friend Carina. We are going again tomorrow to see Puccinis Turandot :-) The next day Easter Day we went to Gavle and this time we actually stayed at a hotel, Elite Grand hotel. A newly opened hotel, March 1, where we had the executive suite. What a suite! I have to show you some photos. One of the best suites I've ever stayed in!   The suite taken from the "living-room area"  From the "cosy" area with wood burning stove   Our "little" bathroom with green marble Part of the bedroom What do yo...

Christmas gift

For Christmas I got a giftcard to Amazon.com from my sister Jo. It was a real treat to go to the site, explore and find something to buy. There are so many things there and it's hard to choose. For me, leaving in Sweden, it's a bit easier. I just cross the square that says "ships to Sweden" and I get all the things I can order. My choice was Bliss socks and a big bottle of Dermalogica body cream. They came today and I'm so happy. So once again a big thank you big sis for the generous gift.

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. After one more hour another doctor came and said my bloodtest showed I had an i...
