Back home again...

I had the intention of taking photos of my visit to Falun but I ended up with just the ones you can see here. It's my room at the hotel. Rather nice room don't you think?

Well, I came back late last night and only unpacked, talked for a while with Hasse telling him about the course and the stay and then headed to bed.
The course was so good and I learnt a lot! My only regret is that I didn't think of this long before. I could have attended a lot more courses and thus being more competetive. Each course cost
8 000 SEK and then you have the cost for travel and lodging. It was also the most lovely group. We were 5 women and I was the only one from Stockholm. The other ones were "dalkullor" Dalecarlian women except one that came from Härjedalen.
You know me, I'm not the one sitting quiet and not chatting so I found the girls very nice and we talked a lot. Last coffebreak we had I said: I'm so happy I ended up in a group with such wonderful women and also that are so easy to talk to. Then one of the women said: Are you surprised? meaning that I talked a lot and thus they did too.
I took that as a compliment anyway :-)
We have now given each other our mailaddresses and will form a network. Isn't that good?

There was another article about H.E.A.T in the other local paper. Did I tell you about that? And did I give you the link to that one? If you're interested I can link here.

I worked as usual today and finally Richard managed to get my computer connected to the printer. It hasn't been working since I moved.

Today was also Lizzie's birthday. Happy birthday Lizzie :-) I sent her a wonderful boquet of flowers and I hope she has or will receive them. Time difference makes it hard to know when she can have them. I am going to bed now but they are probably having lunch.
Good night to those of you who are going to bed and have a good day to you who works.

WOW!!! I just have to say Wow!

Why do you ask? I just got a mail telling me that I have won a romantic trip to Paris for 2! I enrolled in this competition, last year, which was to write a slogan and I had forgot all about it when the mail came. I didn't remember it even then so I had to go to the site and see what it was :-) I'm so happy! and so is Hasse :-) We had a great Easter which started with a wonderful ballet, Giselle, at the Royal Opera with my friend Carina. We are going again tomorrow to see Puccinis Turandot :-) The next day Easter Day we went to Gavle and this time we actually stayed at a hotel, Elite Grand hotel. A newly opened hotel, March 1, where we had the executive suite. What a suite! I have to show you some photos. One of the best suites I've ever stayed in!   The suite taken from the "living-room area"  From the "cosy" area with wood burning stove   Our "little" bathroom with green marble Part of the bedroom What do yo...

Christmas gift

For Christmas I got a giftcard to Amazon.com from my sister Jo. It was a real treat to go to the site, explore and find something to buy. There are so many things there and it's hard to choose. For me, leaving in Sweden, it's a bit easier. I just cross the square that says "ships to Sweden" and I get all the things I can order. My choice was Bliss socks and a big bottle of Dermalogica body cream. They came today and I'm so happy. So once again a big thank you big sis for the generous gift.

BIRTHDAY, H.E.A.T, E.R and more...

Some of the wonderful flowers I got And some more Last week didn't start out well. On Monday I woke up and could hardly walk. I had such pain every step I tried to take. But off to work anyway. Tuesday even worse so I went to the doctor's office and asked to borrow crutches. Wednesday at work jumping on crutches, that must have been a sight ;-) But when I came home from work Wednesday I had fever so I went to bed quite early but didn't sleep well because of the constant pain. Thursday morning I woke up and had fever so I called the hospital and they said I had to go to the E.R. I hate that and if I can I always try to avoid it. But I was in so much pain I had to. I came and after a while they took bloodtests, urine and then I sat in a kind of smallish room. After being there for about 3 hours a doctor came and said I probably should see and orthopedic and not a medicine doctor. After one more hour another doctor came and said my bloodtest showed I had an i...
