Emptying the flat and new H.E.A.T release; Keep on Dreaming

Today me, Danniel and Helen emptied Dad's flat. He didn't have much but still it was a couple of hours job to do it. It's sad and it gets so real when you throw the clothes away. Actually we didn't throw them away because most of them were hardly used so we donated to "Myrorna" (Salvation army) to people who need them more.

I had bought a sandwichcake and afterwards we went to Mom and had lunch and ate the cake. It was very good and we had such a nice time. Today Mom was calmer and could talk better. We went down memory lane and we had so many laughs.

We also put up some of the paintings, that Dad have, in her room and she was happy for that. I had also printed out (on real photopaper) some photos from the funeral.

To end it all we celebrated Mother's Day. It's tomorrow but we did it today already. I had bought a set of trousers and a t-shirt to go with them saying: World's best Mom in silver and pink. Everything else was black. She really liked them.

I can tell you I'm completely exhausted probably as much of fysical as emotional fatigue. Today I felt like jumping on a cruise ship and just be there and relax, read a book, meditate and be in my thoughts and feelings. Hasse doesn't want to go and I don't think he wants me to go by myself.
I also wants to go to LA to my sister there because I always gets so relaxed when I'm there. I don't have the pressure as I have here and I think that's why I'm so relaxed. Also both Jo and Marvin are such nice people and let you be yourself. I'm sad they are so far away. It's not that easy just to pop over. You can't just go there for a week. Three weeks is perfect. One week to get into things and get over jetlag and reconnect. Then two weeks of spending time. By the end of the three weeks it seems there haven't been enough time despite having 3 weeks.
Home again it takes me over a week to get into the right time but it's all worth it.

Jonas and H.E.A.T played in Ljusdal (Light valley) yesterday night with a completely new set and he said it went great. Tonight they are playing in Umeå where they first appeared as support to TOTO 2 years ago. On Monday their new single, Keep on Dreaming, will be released and I have already ordered 10 copies!

Tomorrow I'm going to Gävle to see Gunilla and Per and get some treatments. Always nice to see them and the girls.

I wonder if anyone can see and read my blogg? I haven't had any comments in so long that's why I ask. Erik didn't win a Grammy last night but he had a blast and he and his fiancé looked just great! Another Swede, Ludwig Göransson, won 3 prices though. Congrats to him.

Recap of the week

This week meant a lot to do and I'm afraid I haven't taken the time to write here :-( But here's a recap of what has happened. Monday and Tuesday not very much but I was so, so tired and my joints does not like this weather at all. I have so much pain especially in my hands and fingers which makes it hard even to write here. On Wednesday I went to Norrtälje to my good friend Anne for some treatment, which was very much needed, lots of chat and also a very good lunch. It's always a pleasure to see her and we have so much to talk about all the time. A true friend who I'm so grateful of having. Next day it was time for work and after that directly to the working committe in the Rheumatic association. Afterwards also meeting in the foundation, where we grant money to people who have applied, and fulfill the rules of the statues. Oh my God

The Christmas smorgasbord I just realized I haven't written anything since November 23! But I can tell you I haven't been lazy but there has been so much going on that I haven't had the strength to write. I had meetings that week and I was supposed to be at a conference hotel for lunch that Friday but I was to tired I had to cancel it. So instead I baked safron buns (!) and made chocolate troufles with ginger. The ferry On December 1 it was Staffan's birthday (Hasse's oldest son) and I worked and worked at my job. Thursday I and Hasse were supposed to go to the theatre and see Come again Charlie, which was one of my birthday presents - thank you Pär and Brita. But Hasse wasn't feeling well so instead I asked Linnea, my bonus grand daughter if she wanted to go and she was very happy that I asked.
