H.E.A.T - again :-) and other stuff

Love this photo from HRH AOR festival. Thank you Sean Larkin for this photo. See more of them on H.E.A.T photos by Sean Larkin

The guys are home again as I said in my earlier post but next Saturday they will play at Katalin in Uppsala. Be sure to be there, I know I will! Tickets for sale here. I hope to see you there :-)

Today is something funny on TV4 involving one of the members in H.E.A.T and that is Erik Grönwall who is playing in a celebrity team of icehockey and they are up against the Gold Medalist, icehockeyteam, from the Olympics in Lillehammer 1994!!
They, the celebrities, have been under hard drill from Hardy Nilsson but they do have some reinforcement in form of former hockey pros. It should be very interesting and it's live on TV4 tonight (Saturday April 27) at 8PM. This can also be seen live on TV4 Play.

Hasse and I might miss some of the match above because tonight we are going to eat a gourmet dinner at Såstaholm. This is one of the prizes I have received from the cooking competition at work and we are really looking forward to that :-)

On Tuesday we celebrate Walpurgis Night and traditionally it's with big bonfires which is to scare winter away and welcome spring. Something that we all, especially after this long cold winter, are longing for. We have had some nice temperatures the last week with up to +10C and sunshine but we still get night frost now and then.

Well, that's about it for now. Talk to you later. Meanwhile take care! And I send a special get well to my niece Lizzie!

I know don't say it....

I have been very bad ;-) I just realized I haven't written for almost 2 weeks. Well what can I say? By the time I sit down here by the computer I'm so tired I don't have the the time or can be awake so long that I can write something down :-( It's terrible I know and I don't know when it's going to get better.
This is how I feel when not writing

It's not just that I do too much. It's also my multi diagnosis which makes me extremely fatigue. As you know I have SS, that is Sjogren's syndrome a rheumatic disease, as well as Fibromyalgia, IBS, arthritis and some more.
And this autumn and winter has been too much since I've been in a relapse. But now it seems like it has turned, after lot of medication, so hopefully as it's getting better and the light in this country is coming back, I too will feel better and more energetic.

We in Sweden want to see this happy sun :-) soon.

Enough about the moaning now! You remember I last told you about the win? I won a trip to Paris. But we changed our minds me and Hasse. I have now booked us a trip to - Prague! We go on May 27 for 5 days :-) We are so looking forward to that. Prague is said to be a wonderful city and just as romantic as Paris ;-)

Last weekend we had board meeting conference with the newly elected board. We were at Tre Rosor, Rosersberg (my former workplace) and we had a wonderful time. We have 4 new members on the board, all very nice and eager to work.

What has happened more than that? Well, H.E.A.T has been on a European success tour including Germany, England, Scotland and Spain.
Great reviews, sold out in London and they had to change to bigger venues both in Madrid and Barcelona. I so wish I could have been there especially in Barcelona where Jonas for the third time met his cousin which I haven't
met :-(

My son Jona in action (H.E.A.T action)

Today I visited my Mom and Danniel took a walk and joined us which was very nice. It was a pleasure to be with her today because she was in such a good mood. She talked a lot in different languages (though we don't understand what she says :-( which is sad), she sang, she wanted me to sing (!), she clapped her hands and she wanted to hold my hand.

My oldest son Danniel and my Mother

Yesterday I was in Norrtälje to see my good friend Anne for some treatment, chatting and lunching :-) I haven't been to see her for such a long time due to me being so ill the last six months but finally I got to see her again.
We always have so much to talk about :-) One other funny thing that happened when we had our lunch at Havspiren is that my former chief from my guide days were there! She owned the travel agency where I used to work and I haven't seen her in probably 20 years :-) So nice to meet her :-)
Me yesterday in Norrtälje :-)

Well, that's about it for now (there has of course happened more but nothing out of the ordinary) Take care everyone!

Hasse's birthday

Today was Hasse's birthday and we celebrated him both on Friday and today.
Friday we had a very good friend over for coffee and today we also had friends over for coffee and cake :-)
 The cake!
Friends, Hasse and Emil

It was also the last day of the step competition and I'm sorry to inform you that I didn't reach San Diego, but I did went as long as to Oceanside. All this since March 22. Not too bad I think.
This is how far I've walked, 138 km! and the number of steps in that time.
You can't see LAX but there is where I started and you see my little figure in the right corner.

H.E.A.T is doing great on their tour and have been on a festival in Germany, in Nottingham at Rock City and today at a big festival in Rotherham. Next stop will be Glasgow.

Here's a review of their gig in Helsinki during Easter:

I hope you all have a great week. I'm looking forward to Tuesday when I will receive the price I won for a slogan - A romantic trip to Paris for 2! Can it get any better?

H.E.A.T in Finland (video)

A must for every H.E.A.T-fan

WOW!!! I just have to say Wow!

Why do you ask?

I just got a mail telling me that I have won a romantic trip to Paris for 2!
I enrolled in this competition, last year, which was to write a slogan and I had forgot all about it when the mail came.
I didn't remember it even then so I had to go to the site and see what it
was :-)

I'm so happy! and so is Hasse :-)

We had a great Easter which started with a wonderful ballet, Giselle, at the Royal Opera with my friend Carina.

We are going again tomorrow to see Puccinis Turandot :-)

The next day Easter Day we went to Gavle and this time we actually stayed at a hotel, Elite Grand hotel. A newly opened hotel, March 1, where we had the executive suite.
What a suite! I have to show you some photos. One of the best suites I've ever stayed in!
The suite taken from the "living-room area"
From the "cosy" area with wood burning stove
Our "little" bathroom with green marble
Part of the bedroom
What do you think? Isn't this gorgeous. Since there was a diningtable and library as well as a big terrace you could easily live there (if money wasn't an option)

Today I was at the hairdresser and fixed my hair again.

Another thing that happened this week is that Hasse's favorite hockey team, Leksand (from Dalarna of course), took their place once again in the Elitserien and he was this happy when I came home:
My Mom turned 89 on April 2 and we are going to celebrate her now on Saturday. Then on Sunday it's Hasse's turn to celebrate his birthday (April 7).

H.E.A.T started their European tour on Easter by touring Finland. They are now on their way to Germany and then they will play several places in England and Scotland and then Spain.
But Jonas will be back for his birthday which is April 17 :-)

Oh if you wonder about the step competition. I have reached according to this map, south of San Clemente. I have walked 121 km and has 80 km left to San Diego. I won't reach San Diego cause it's only 4 days left but I will do my best to reach as far as I can :-)

Take care until next time!
