Did I forget to tell you that H.E.A.T was on National Radio yesterday? Well, they were anyway. They did an interview due to the fact that their song BEG BEG BEG was song of the week last week. So this week they played both 1000 miles and BEG BEG BEG as well as interviewing the guys. Think again ;-) Today has been a day of sunshine and heavy snowing, not at the same time though. I went to Norrtälje this morning to meet with my coach and I had a lot of thoughts when going there. We talked it through and now I might be changing totally - workwise that is. I have for the last 30 years worked with economy in different ways. But now I'm into working with people - as a jobcoach. And maybe in a specific direction which is with disabled or with people with some sort of handicap. This is a big group that wants and needs to work and often have more difficulties to overcome. I have contacted my contact at the Employment office to get more details on what I need, education, job opurtunities, salary etc. And of course what you are expected to do. I have a rough idea and I have seen my jobcoach in action of course. It's very exciting and hopefully I will get some positive answers and then when I meet with my jobcoach the next time we can hopefully choose the path ...

  Me and Hasse Today we had a nice time first visiting Mom at the home for elderly. It was me, Hasse and Jonas. Emil was home with a bad cold. We brought candy, which was good because she was out of it, cinnamon buns, magazines and a present, a very cute little teapot and cup. She was very happy for that. She actually spoke very good today and I understood most of it. Danniel and Jonas Afterwards we went to Danniel invited by him to have birthday dinner. One week late but better late than never.We had a delicious starter - toast with shrimphotchpotch and avocado. Great since we were really hungry. Main course was a wonderfully marinated porkfillet with potatoegratin and sallad. Everything tasted excellent. For dessert we had bought a chocalatecake which was very good but very filling. We chatted a lot and Jonas told us about the gig they had last night in Norrtälje which was great. As you can see the song is the best new song this week according to 86% of the listeners and 2 professional musicians, and they are big in the business, Bengt Palmers and Gunilla Backman (who among other things has played the role of Ellen in Miss Saigon and Fantine in Les Miserables in London) They both loved H.E.A.T, the song and the singer.   A totally wonderful photo of springflowers by Sonja Cygnel I tried to write yesterday but something was wrong with my Blogger and I couldn't write anything so now I try again. Monday evening we had the annual meeting with the Rheumatic assocation. We had 42 people announcing that they would come but only 27 showed up. We all believe it's due to the weathersituation we have right now here. Specially on Monday the commute situation was chaos, totally chaos. No subways, no trains, people stood in line for hours waiting for buses and when there finally came a bus people got crazy. Imagine one bus and hundreds of people waiting in - 20C for hours. You get the panic, anger and all feelings between. So if some people didn't show up I completely understand.     Ritva who was our guest chairman But we that did show up had a good time. We had Lars-Åke playing the accordion, then we had long open sandwich and beer (lightbeer of course) and water. Then the meeting and afterwar...

I just want to share some photos with you. I took them today when we actually have sunshine and it's a glorious cold sunny day. This morning it was -23C and that is cold. Our street after the plow had been here   If you look closely you can see Hilma but this is our mailbox being burried  The funny thing is that though you would have thought we are used to this weather, transportations doesn't work when it gets this cold. Today people were encouraged to stay home and work there instead of travel to work.  The photo shows people in line waiting for buses because the subway couldn't function above ground because of the cold. And now they are telling us that more snow is on the way!! What is this? I think we have had more than enough this winter. Don't you? Now I want to see melting snow, dripping from the roofs, birds singing and more sunshine. Tonight we have our annual meeting for members with the Rheumatic assocation. That should be nice.
