WOW!!! I just have to say Wow!

Why do you ask?

I just got a mail telling me that I have won a romantic trip to Paris for 2!
I enrolled in this competition, last year, which was to write a slogan and I had forgot all about it when the mail came.
I didn't remember it even then so I had to go to the site and see what it
was :-)

I'm so happy! and so is Hasse :-)

We had a great Easter which started with a wonderful ballet, Giselle, at the Royal Opera with my friend Carina.

We are going again tomorrow to see Puccinis Turandot :-)

The next day Easter Day we went to Gavle and this time we actually stayed at a hotel, Elite Grand hotel. A newly opened hotel, March 1, where we had the executive suite.
What a suite! I have to show you some photos. One of the best suites I've ever stayed in!
The suite taken from the "living-room area"
From the "cosy" area with wood burning stove
Our "little" bathroom with green marble
Part of the bedroom
What do you think? Isn't this gorgeous. Since there was a diningtable and library as well as a big terrace you could easily live there (if money wasn't an option)

Today I was at the hairdresser and fixed my hair again.

Another thing that happened this week is that Hasse's favorite hockey team, Leksand (from Dalarna of course), took their place once again in the Elitserien and he was this happy when I came home:
My Mom turned 89 on April 2 and we are going to celebrate her now on Saturday. Then on Sunday it's Hasse's turn to celebrate his birthday (April 7).

H.E.A.T started their European tour on Easter by touring Finland. They are now on their way to Germany and then they will play several places in England and Scotland and then Spain.
But Jonas will be back for his birthday which is April 17 :-)

Oh if you wonder about the step competition. I have reached according to this map, south of San Clemente. I have walked 121 km and has 80 km left to San Diego. I won't reach San Diego cause it's only 4 days left but I will do my best to reach as far as I can :-)

Take care until next time!

  1. I think I told you our father's brother Juan, always participated in contests in the radio and TV and won quite often. You must have his genes! Way to go Mia!

  2. Thank you Sandy and Jo :-) I was so surprised especially since I had forgotten all about it. I wrote that slogan in November I think.
But I'm so very happy and it's kind of funny since Hasse and I have talked a lot about going to Paris. I haven't been there since 1972 and Hasse since the end of the 70's.

Have a really good weekend both of you. Love you and miss you <3 <3

Peter and his wife Toshimi. A lovely couple. Me and Helen before the show. LADIES NIGHT Yesterday me and my sister H went to Uppsala to see Ladies night. Have you ever been on one you know what I'm talking about. For you others who haven't yet experienced this I can tell you it's 2500 women and 0 men in the au dience. But on stage there is only men and what men!! One goodlooking guy after another. When we arrived we had champagne and white wine and different kinds of shellfish which wasn't that good but we ate and drank and had fun. For dessert we had a wonderful chocolatecake with raspberrysauce. During dinner Daniel Da Silva taught us to dance Marengo and Disco from the 80s. A lot of fun when everyone stood up and danced. After that a songcompetition and singalong. Finally at 9 the main event. Peter Stormare, Martin Stenmarck and Henrik Hjelt entered the stage. A 2 hour show with full steem all the way. Lots of sex hints of course but also ver

Anyone??

I wonder if anyone can see and read my blogg? I haven't had any comments in so long that's why I ask. Erik didn't win a Grammy last night but he had a blast and he and his fiancé looked just great! Another Swede, Ludwig Göransson, won 3 prices though. Congrats to him.

September post

Windy and grey  Last I wrote it was August and summer. Now we have September and it's autumn! Well, the temperatures are some day quite decent but others, huuh, it really feels cold. We have had a lot of rain as well but I like this. Autumn is my favorite time of the year. The leaves are shifting in different colors from green, to yellow, read and more. It's beautiful. The air is fresh and easy to breathe. What have I been up to then since last?  Well,  a whole lot.  Hasse and I went on a luxury cruise (still one of my 60th birthday gifts) with extra all. Fantastic suite cabin, VIP treatment all the way which meant going onboard before everyone else, having a VIP lounge etc. So nice. The trip was very calm and by that I mean the sea. Me and the board members by the dinner table at Torpa Inn I went to my sis to have my teeth checked, and yes she is a dentist Then we celebrated Mandy on August 29. I went to see my doctor to have a certificate so I can renew my h
